The 6th floor at the Center is the Indigenous Theme Library, which was originally only open to academics and researchers undertaking studies on indigenous peoples. Even though the book collection is not large, but there are many valuable government documents, university theses, and important historic documents. There are ten major categories in the library, such as History, Literature, Arts, and others. It includes books such as, “Ancient Text on the One-Hundred Ping Pu Aborigine Communities”, “The Early Development History at Da-Mao-Pu”, “Famous Personality Anthology of Siraya People in the Back-Mountains”. There are also music documentations of the Taiwan island in the old days, “The Songs of Wild Lily”, “The Flute Music in the Mountain Field”, “On the Foot Trail of Atayal”, and others. These books preserve the beautiful words and language of indigenous peoples. We invite you to come in and browse, explore the world of indigenous books and literature.
